Description

Vladimir Lenin on rejection of abrupt abolition of the state. In the early 20th century communists competed with anarchists for working class supporters. Both communists and anarchists both called for abolition of the state however anarchists wanted immediate abolition of the state while communists believed that abolition of the state was a long term goal and in the Soviet Union communist leaders like Lenin regarded the need for an era of a strong state in order for the communist governments to be able to fight counterrevolutionary forces.

Yeah, anarchists are wrong. It's not possible jumping from capitalism to communism or poststate socialism avoiding state socialism. That has only happened when a state dissapears because of a war but when war is finished, the non-state experience is finished.
